Offering the perfect balance between heritage and present day design the new authentic shirt retains the modern style in a deeper more historic red. This season's authentic shirt is offered with a host of Active technology aimed at moderating body temperature and providing muscle stimulation for both comfort and performance. Micro-capsules within the shirt material aim to both warm and cool the body as needed. Athletic tape inside the centre of the shirt helps relax the midriff aiding deeper breathing and lumbar support to improve posture. The added feature of athletic tape across the shoulder blades assists coordination and stimulates back muscles. The powerCELL next-to-skin layers technology is designed to work with your body's natural systems enhancing and maximising your performance during and after exercise.

As well as the Active technology the shirt also benefits from small but effective design details to make it stand out from the crowd. The shoulder design features miniature Arsenal crests created into a smart graphic formstripe down each arm. The small cannon on the back of the shirt is a celebration of the first time the cannon appeared on an Arsenal shirt. The 2017/18 Authentic home shirt has the added benefit of being the only PUMA released shirt to have a collar this season so it not only offers active technology it also offers a stylish and smart look.
